The Tone:
This is an early career development program at Wesco, a publicly traded FORTUNE 500 company headquartered in Pittsburgh. The TL;DR

• Pay: $24.04–$31.25 hourly
• Team: Reports to a local manager; supported by a peer mentor
• Mission: Prepare for a full-time Sales or Sales Operations position through a comprehensive twelve-month training program.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI
What You’ll Actually Do
• Warehouse and Operations: Participate in immersive experiences related to warehouse management and operational processes.
• Sales Operations: Contribute to sales support functions and process optimization within the sales cycle.
• Inside Sales: Engage in direct sales activities and customer interactions from an office-based setting.
• Outside Sales: Develop and manage client relationships and pursue sales opportunities in the field.
• Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to expand market reach.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate Degree required; Entry-Level. Desire to build a career in Sales, Supply Chain, Operations or Business.
• Experience: 0-1 years of experience in a service, business, or sales-oriented role; 0-2 years of experience working in B2B industrial distribution.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability and willingness to travel; Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Internship in Sales, Supply Chain, Operations or Business preferred; Ability to travel 0-25%.
