• Mission: Provide ongoing accounting assistance to clients to manage growth, leverage resources, and mitigate costs and risks.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Close: Manage monthly financial closing processes for clients.
• Account Reconciliations: Perform financial account reconciliations for accuracy.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, observing fluctuations and providing recommendations.
• Reporting and Statements: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
• Tax Filings: Prepare and file various tax forms, including sales, payroll, property, and Forms 1099.
• Process Improvement: Identify and recommend enhancements to accounting processes and systems.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Entry-level staff with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Skills: Detail-oriented, problem-solving, communication, critical thinking, organizational, technical, and analytical skills.
• Bonus: On track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of successfully obtaining your CPA license.
