Production Management Development Associate | Nestlé Purina North America

The Tone:
This is a full-time, rotational role at Nestlé Purina North America, with initial placements in Bloomfield, Missouri; Crete, Nebraska; or Clinton, Iowa. Nestlé Purina is dedicated to pet care, building on a long tradition of excellence in producing high-quality pet food. This program is designed to develop future leaders, providing a fast-track to management within the manufacturing side of the business and offering continuous learning and growth through hands-on experience and relocation opportunities across 24 U.S. manufacturing sites.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Explore quality assurance, safety, supply chain, engineering, human resources, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance to understand departmental collaboration.
• Lead people and operations through the entire path to high-quality pet food production.
• Discover a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures to accomplish goals using experience and discernment.
• Lead and oversee the execution of production schedules, ensuring the flow of materials, parts, and resources necessary for plant-wide production.
• Plan methods to improve efficiency in production and execute production improvement tasks, maintaining compliance with approved methods and quality standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Management, or a related discipline, attained or expected by June 2027.
• Experience: Must be open to relocation to any of our 24 Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the MDA program, with a starting rotation in Bloomfield, Missouri; Crete, Nebraska; or Clinton, Iowa.
• Skills: Leadership, Operational Management, Continuous Improvement, Safety Compliance.
• Bonus: Prior internship, co-op, practicum, or manufacturing experience preferred; involvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience preferred.
