Staff Accountant | EOTECH

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at EOTECH. EOTECH is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage foundational financial operations across multiple entities. • Team: Reports to Controller within the Finance Department
• Mission: Support core accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accounting close activities to ensure accurate financial records.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft applications, accounting software, ERP, AI driven systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Accounts Payable: Manages the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice entry, coding, approval processing, vendor records, and payment support.
• Support Accounts Receivable: Assists with customer invoicing, cash application, account follow-up, and aging review.
• Maintain Financial Records: Records routine transactions and ensures all accounting records are organized and accurate across multiple entities.
• Perform Reconciliations: Reconciles bank, credit card, intercompany, and general ledger accounts under supervision.
• Aid in Financial Close: Supports month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, schedules, accrual support, and account analysis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, with a basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and financial statements.
• Experience: 0-2 years of work-related experience; relevant coursework, internships, volunteer work, or part-time experience is welcome.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and time-management skills; comfort using Microsoft applications; willingness to learn accounting software; ability to ask questions, accept feedback, and work collaboratively.
• Bonus: Preferred coursework or exposure to bookkeeping, payroll, tax, audit, or month-end close; familiarity with accounting, ERP, and AI driven systems.
