What You’ll Actually Do
• Record Financial Transactions: Prepare and post journal entries to ensure the maintenance of accurate financial records.
• Manage General Ledger: Assist in the diligent maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Analyze and Resolve Discrepancies: Analyze financial data to proactively identify discrepancies, investigate their root causes, and resolve issues effectively.
• Ensure Compliance and Reporting: Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations, and contribute to the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support Audits and Efficiency: Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations, and assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. This entry-level position requires a strong foundational understanding of journal entries and general ledger processes, coupled with a solid familiarity with core accounting principles and practices.
