• Mission: Conduct EMC tests for radiated and conducted emissions and immunity, ensuring product compliance with various international standards while maintaining lab operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Conduct: Conduct EMC measurements for radiated and conducted tests in adherence to established test plans and international standards.
• Consult: Advise internal customers on developing EMC test plans, configuring appropriate test setups, and utilizing effective measurement techniques.
• Support: Collaborate closely with internal customers to bring up equipment for testing in the lab and ensure continuous monitoring throughout the test procedures.
• Resolve: Work with internal customers to identify EMC-related issues and recommend practical, effective solutions to address them.
• Improve: Assist in the development and continuous improvement of EMC test procedures, tools, and processes to ensure consistent and reliable measurement results.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus in communications engineering.
• Experience: 7.5+ years of relevant industry experience, specifically in EMC testing and/or RF testing, with familiarity in automotive EMC standards and common component and IC-level test setups.
• Skills: Proficiency with advanced RF measurement techniques and their respective laboratory test and measurement devices; strong problem-solving skills to analyze complex technical challenges and develop practical solutions; clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including creating easy-to-understand technical documentation.
• Bonus: Experience with control software for automated EMC testing or with script language programming, such as Python.
