This position is designed for early-career accountants seeking to build a broad accounting foundation and gain direct exposure to senior leadership, moving beyond narrow close responsibilities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage day-to-day accounting and recurring close activities across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
• Oversee assigned accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including the thorough review of invoices and related accounting transactions.
• Support critical cash-management activities and assist directly with the accounting for an assigned portfolio within the investment business.
• Contribute to budgeting and reforecasting processes, and provide essential support for annual audit preparations and tax-return compilation.
• Facilitate recurring registration requirements for various entities and participate in diverse ad hoc accounting and business projects as organizational needs evolve.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-Level professional accountant with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, possessing a foundational understanding of general ledger activities.
• Experience: Demonstrated early-career foundation in professional accounting, general ledger, and comfortability supporting close-related responsibilities.
• Skills: Dependability and ownership of assigned work, problem-solving aptitude, an eagerness to learn from senior accounting leadership, and the ability to operate effectively in a changing environment.
• Bonus: Prior experience in property accounting or the real estate industry, and familiarity with Yardi software would be helpful.
