What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage in Engagements: Participate actively in various phases of audit and/or tax engagements, contributing directly to client projects.
• Conduct Core Activities: Perform essential tasks including planning engagement strategies, conducting thorough testing, researching complex issues, and preparing detailed reports.
• Support Financial Health: Work with compilations, reviews, and compliance, contributing to the accuracy of financial statements and the proper management of benefit plans.
• Handle Diverse Taxes: Engage with a broad spectrum of tax types, including corporate, partnership, individual, international federal, and state & local taxes.
• Interact Professionally: Develop meaningful interactions with staff members across all levels within the firm and directly with an impressive range of clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, or a Master’s degree in accounting or tax. This is an Entry-Level internship role.
• Experience: Academic success demonstrated by a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Candidates must be on track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of successfully obtaining their CPA license.
• Skills: Demonstrated detail-orientation, strong leadership potential, and effective problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills are essential.
