• Mission: To train and develop future leaders in plant operations, EHS, efficiency, and asset management within Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Training: Engage in comprehensive training across various aspects of plant operations, learning the core processes and systems that drive production and output at Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions facilities.
• Workforce Management: Acquire skills in staffing and scheduling, understanding how to effectively organize personnel and optimize shifts to meet operational demands and maintain productivity.
• Health and Safety Oversight: Participate in training focused on environmental health and safety (EHS) to ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards and cultivate a secure working environment.
• Efficiency Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiencies, contributing to streamlined workflows and optimized resource utilization within the plants.
• Asset Management: Learn about the critical processes of asset maintenance, integrity assessments, and capital planning, crucial for the longevity and strategic investment in company assets.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a 4-year bachelor’s degree in an engineering or a closely related field. This position is an entry-level role focused on leadership development within the company.
• Experience: Candidates must demonstrate a strong willingness to listen to feedback, commit to continuous learning, and be prepared to take on assignments that challenge and stretch their abilities. Relocation is a mandatory requirement for program participation and subsequent opportunities.
