The Tone:
This is a full-time Manager in Training program at PLS Logistics Services, located in Nashville, TN. PLS Logistics Services is a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider. This program is designed to develop the next generation of logistics leaders, offering a 4-month rotational experience that fast-tracks careers in a high-growth industry. The role provides hands-on experience across every core function of the company, preparing individuals to lead upon graduation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Development: Learn to build a book of business, negotiate pricing, and close deals in freight brokerage.
• Operations Management: Dive into carrier management, shipment coverage, and service resolution processes.
• Corporate Departmental Exposure: Rotate through marketing, finance, human resources, and national accounts functions.
• Client Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with both shippers and carriers.
• Problem Resolution: Tackle and resolve real client service issues effectively.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree (or nearing completion) in a related field. Entry-level.
• Experience: 0–2 years of sales or related experience; demonstrated leadership through academics, athletics, or extracurricular involvement.
• Skills: Confidence in networking and public speaking; an entrepreneurial mindset; ability to work effectively in a team.
• Bonus: Strong campus or community involvement (Greek life, clubs, service); willingness to relocate to a PLS branch after program completion.
