Principal or Sr. Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst | Northrop Grumman

• Team: Leads and trains other analysts while interfacing with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers.
• Mission: This person ensures contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines by providing critical financial and administrative support and analysis.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Interface: Provide financial and administrative support and analysis to program managers, functional management, and cost account managers to meet program requirements.
• Manage EVM: Apply Earned Value Management and performance measurement baseline concepts to multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team.
• Analyze Costs: Develop, maintain, analyze, and justify estimates to complete, assess funding, perform cost risk analysis/assessment, and maintain visibility reports.
• Report: Prepare government cost performance reports, prepare and/or review Performance measurement variance analysis, and support internal and external reporting requirements.
• Lead: Lead and train other analysts, especially on full level 1 Earned Value contracts, and provide strategic guidance as required.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, or industry related fields.
• Experience: 5 years (Level 3) or 8 years (Level 4) of experience; experience successfully supporting a monthly financial forecasting rhythm; experience with EAC development and analysis.
• Skills: Earned Value Management (EVM), Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint, experience with an Earned Value tool, ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
• Bonus: Experience developing CDRLs (IPMR/IPMDAR/CPR/CFSR/CSDR).
