The TL;DR

• Mission: Implement and support Business Objects Data Services ETL jobs within a Business Objects Enterprise landscape to ensure seamless data flow and optimal processing.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Implement ETL Jobs: Design and implement Business Objects Data Services ETL jobs to meet business requirements, ensuring seamless data flow within the Business Objects Enterprise landscape.
• Support Data Flows: Utilize your understanding of Business Objects Data Services to support complex ETL data flows, troubleshooting issues and optimizing data processing.
• Configure Extractors: Provide configuration support for BW extractors, SAP and non-SAP extractors with Data Services, HANA replication with Data Services, and loading with SAP DMC.
• Apply Technical Skills: Apply hands-on skills in SAP BODS, SAP BOIS, SAP SDI, SAP DATA HUB, SAP DMC, and SAP Data Migration for S/4 HANA and other SAP products to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Manage Data Services: Manage and support Business Objects Data Services within a Business Objects Enterprise landscape, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal system performance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s Degree preferred; core domain knowledge in implementing Business Objects Data Services ETL jobs within a Business Objects Enterprise landscape.
• Experience: Practical exposure to implementing and managing Business Objects Data Services ETL jobs, including supporting complex data flows and troubleshooting. Proven experience configuring various extractors (BW, SAP, non-SAP, HANA replication, SAP DMC loading). Hands-on experience with one or more of SAP BODS, SAP BOIS, SAP SDI, SAP DATA HUB, SAP DMC, and SAP Data Migration for S/4 HANA.
• Skills: SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS), SAP Business Objects Information Steward (BOIS), SAP Smart Data Integration (SDI), SAP Data Hub, SAP Data Migration for S/4 HANA, ETL job design, data flow optimization, extractor configuration.
• Bonus: Extensive knowledge of SAP EIM products and their application. Advanced experience in managing and troubleshooting complex ETL data flows. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and support Business Objects Data Services within an Enterprise landscape.
