Health and Benefits Analyst, Recent College Graduate Program (RCGP) – Intern Conversion | WTW

The Tone:
This is an entry-level program at WTW, a global advisory, broking, and solutions company, for recent college graduates converting from an internship. The company focuses on transforming futures by helping clients navigate complex challenges in health and benefits. This role is crucial for supporting clients in controlling healthcare costs, improving employee health outcomes, and enhancing engagement, contributing directly to the well-being of their employees. Through this program, you will develop a broad knowledge base in the health care, group benefits, and wellbeing space while building a diverse professional network.

The TL;DR
• Role: Intern Conversion (Recent College Graduate Program)
• Type: Full-time
• Location: Hybrid – Specific WTW office
• Pay: $70000–$75000 yearly
• Team: Centrally run program team supporting recent college graduates with exposure to colleagues of all levels.
• Mission: Help clients improve employee health outcomes, control costs, and promote engagement through advanced health and welfare plan solutions.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Support the development and implementation of new client strategies and solutions.
• Vendor Analysis: Analyze and compare vendor products, services, and contracts to inform client decisions.
• Financial Modeling: Perform financial analyses, including developing pricing models, creating employee contribution strategies, and modeling plan design alternatives.
• Proposal Evaluation: Evaluate responses to surveys and vendor proposals for various client needs.
• Program Collaboration: Collaboratively work with your RCGP class on project opportunities and various training initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher, graduating between May 2026 and June 2027. Preferred coursework includes human capital/human resource management, health economics, risk management & insurance, business management, marketing, finance, or advanced mathematics.
• Experience: Completion of the Health and Benefits or Health, Equity and Wellbeing Summer 2026 Internship at WTW is required. Prior internship or other work experience demonstrating increasing levels of complex work, autonomy, and client service skills.
• Skills: Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team, resourceful and creative, inquisitive, accountable for one’s work, thrives in a client-oriented environment, excellent oral and written communication skills, and excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint). Must be able to work legally in the United States indefinitely without visa sponsorship.
• Bonus: For Actuarial students, successful completion of one or more actuarial exams is highly preferred.
