• Mission: Define and execute the worldwide procurement strategy for cybersecurity technology spend, maximizing value through strategic sourcing.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategize: Develop and maintain a comprehensive multi-year global cybersecurity category strategy, aligning plans with enterprise technology roadmaps, business priorities, and market trends.
• Advise: Serve as the primary commercial advisor and trusted procurement expert to cybersecurity and technology leadership, supporting investment decisions with market intelligence and commercial expertise.
• Source & Negotiate: Lead high-value, complex sourcing initiatives across the cybersecurity portfolio, conducting competitive events, supplier selection activities, and commercial negotiations to establish enterprise-wide frameworks.
• Manage Relationships: Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with key cybersecurity suppliers, driving accountability against contractual commitments, innovation, and service improvement initiatives.
• Ensure Compliance & Optimisation: Ensure sourcing strategies align with enterprise risk, resilience, and regulatory requirements, while driving total cost of ownership optimisation and value realisation initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Technology, or a related discipline, demonstrating extensive experience in technology procurement with a deep understanding of cybersecurity sourcing.
• Experience: A minimum of 12 years in technology procurement or strategic sourcing, specifically with significant exposure to cybersecurity and software sourcing, including proven experience managing complex, high-value contract negotiations within large multinational organizations and leading executive-level supplier relationships.
• Skills: Strong commercial acumen, including financial analysis and deep contractual expertise; proven ability to manage complex negotiations effectively; an analytical mindset for market trend assessment and opportunity identification; and strong interpersonal skills for building trust-based relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
• Bonus: Experience operating within large multinational environments, direct experience supporting cybersecurity or software initiatives within the financial services industry, professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, CPSD or equivalent, and experience negotiating with major software suppliers.
