The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Aborder Products Inc., located in Irving, TX. This position is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting timely monthly reporting, and continuously enhancing our bookkeeping practices as the business evolves. The successful candidate will be a principled and detail-oriented professional whose practical judgment and accounting expertise will directly support the company’s financial operations and ensure compliance. This role is essential for our financial health and operational efficiency, requiring direct collaboration with our external CPA.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Management: Accurately record and categorize all financial transactions within QuickBooks, adhering to our established chart of accounts.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, ensuring all differences are identified and resolved within the same month.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve and adapt our bookkeeping methods in response to the business’s evolving needs.
• CPA Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison with our external CPA, assisting with tax filings, providing necessary records, and ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Financial Reporting: Compile and deliver essential monthly financial reports that management requires for informed decision-making.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field. This is an early-career position. Candidates must possess a strong foundational understanding of debits and credits, account classification, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience: 0-3 years of direct bookkeeping or accounting experience. Practical experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software and solid proficiency in Excel are required.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with Mandarin serving as the primary working language for internal operations and English for external communications with partners like banks and our CPA.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
• Authorization to work in the United States without any current or future employer sponsorship requirements.
