• Mission: This person ensures the accuracy and completeness of financial records by maintaining general ledger accounts and assisting with financial reporting and closing activities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other relevant regulations.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Closing Activities: Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by ensuring the availability of necessary documentation.
• Financial Analysis: Assist with financial analysis, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience, demonstrating technical knowledge of various accounting principles and practices.
• Experience: Foundational understanding of company policies, GAAP, and financial reporting standards, capable of working on assignments of moderate technical and logistical complexity.
• Skills: Demonstrates foundational analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
