Associate Territory Manager (ATM) | Worthington Enterprises
The Tone:
This is a full-time, 18-24 month rotational sales development program at Worthington Enterprises, a designer and manufacturer of market-leading brands for building and consumer products. Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Worthington Enterprises employs approximately 6,000 people across North America and Europe. This program is designed as a launchpad for driven, competitive, and growth-oriented individuals, aiming to prepare top talent for future independent Outside Sales Manager roles. Participants will develop commercial, technical, and operational capabilities essential for owning a geography, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across diverse businesses.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support customer meetings and site visits, executing customer-facing sales activities as part of the rotational program.
• Participate in the full sales cycle, including prospecting for new opportunities, quoting, comprehensive pricing strategies, and proposal development.
• Build and manage sales pipeline activity by accurately updating and leveraging CRM systems.
• Gain direct exposure to manufacturing plants and operational processes, understanding end-to-end business operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, finance, and supply chain partners to achieve program objectives and business insights.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. This program is designed for individuals seeking early-career development into sales leadership.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in sales, internships, operations, engineering, or customer-facing roles. Candidates must demonstrate a clear track record of performance through academic achievements, athletic involvement, leadership positions, or professional accomplishments. Willingness to relocate and travel significantly (75% or more) post-program is a key requirement.
• Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills suitable for customer-facing environments, demonstrated professional presence, high curiosity and learning agility, competitive drive, and strong achievement orientation.
