2027 Sales & Operations Development Program (Starting June 2027) | Rexel USA

The Tone:
This is a rotational program at Rexel USA, located in Denver, CO. Rexel USA is one of the largest distributors of electrical products, data communication, and related supplies in the United States, operating through eight Regions with a distribution network of over 460 warehouse storefront locations. This program offers a unique opportunity for individuals early in their career to gain broad exposure within the electrical distribution industry, developing commercial, operational, and leadership skills to make an impact from day one. Upon successful completion, participants can pursue diverse career paths within the organization.

The TL;DR
• Role: Rotational Program Associate
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person Denver, CO
• Pay: $26.44–$30.00 hourly
• Mission: Provide a fast-tracked opportunity to gain broad exposure and develop commercial, operational, and leadership skills within the electrical distribution industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Warehouse & Logistics: Learn full-cycle supply chain processes behind storing and moving materials, including order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping.
• Sales: Gain experience in counter, inside, and outside sales, building customer service, product knowledge, selling, and digital tool skills.
• Operations: Understand business drivers influencing safety, profitability, facility maintenance, inventory, working capital, and customer service, using available data and tools to support sound business decisions.
• Project Management: Manage customer, sales, and vendor relationships; place orders; track shipments; coordinate billing; and maintain clear, timely communication throughout the project while learning to review bid packages and prepare project quotations.
• Elective Rotations: Tailor your experience through elective rotations based on individual interests, career goals, and local business opportunities, which may include returning to a previous rotation, product specialist roles in areas like Automation, Lighting, Gear, Datacom, or Services, or a customized rotation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School or GED is required, with a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree preferred, making this an entry-level program.
• Experience: External candidates with a bachelor’s degree require 0-1 years of experience in a service, business, or sales-oriented role; internal candidates need less than 12 months of experience with Rexel and good performance standing.
• Skills: Ambitious, curious, and collaborative self-starter who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and working as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred, with a minimum 3.0 GPA upon graduation required for external candidates with a bachelor’s degree; relevant internship/co-op experience or equivalent military/industry-related experience is considered, and being open to relocation will expand opportunities.
