Job Description
Lead Product Manager, ROI & Reporting | MaintainX
The Tone:
MaintainX is a mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams, with over 13,000 customers cutting unplanned downtime and running better operations. This full-time role is at MaintainX, which became part of Autodesk Operations Solutions in 2026. Autodesk’s strategy aims to converge design, make, and operate into one continuous lifecycle, with MaintainX representing the critical ‘operate’ phase that informs future designs. As Lead Product Manager for ROI & Reporting, you will oversee how customers interact with and consume data within MaintainX, from in-app reports to nascent, AI-powered features. You will help customers understand the impact of MaintainX on their operations and expand product insights to a wider enterprise audience.
The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Full-time
• Team: Core division
• Mission: Own Reporting capabilities and surface ROI to customers via the MaintainX platform.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Shape Reporting Strategy: Own MaintainX’s reporting capabilities end-to-end, leveraging data, user research, and competitive/market analysis to define how customers interact with and consume platform data, including AI-powered NLI features.
• Expand Reporting Audience: Evolve current reporting and analytics products from serving frontline managers to a broader enterprise audience, including operations leaders, finance, and EHS stakeholders.
• Quantify Product Impact: Own the ROI narrative within MaintainX products, partnering with pre- and post-sales teams to understand how measuring customer progress against North Star metrics supports the GTM motion, and building products that articulate that story.
• Drive Product Enhancements: Execute on a mixture of large innovations and smaller quality-of-life improvements to supercharge the product and the sales team’s ability to close up-market accounts effectively.
• Support Sales Engagement: Directly partner with the sales team, getting into deals to translate complex product capabilities for senior buyers and helping to close large deals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires 8+ years in product management with meaningful time in a platform or infrastructure-adjacent capacity, ideally at a company serving Enterprise customers.
• Experience: Proven experience building customer-facing analytics or reporting products, with sufficient understanding of underlying data modeling and pipeline decisions to effectively collaborate with data and infrastructure engineers. Includes track record of expanding a product’s audience from operational end-users to more senior stakeholders like operations leaders, finance, or EHS functions, and direct partnership with sales as a company moves upmarket from SMB to Enterprise.
• Skills: Ability to define requirements for upstream data, infrastructure, and platform teams while maintaining a laser-focus on downstream customer outcomes; adept at making smart scope trade-offs on dependency-heavy features, knowing when to ship narrow versus holding for a complete solution.
• Bonus: Capable of inspiring and rallying a team around a clear vision, strategy, and roadmap, connecting daily work to specific KPIs and business goals; strong relationship-builder across all levels from ICs to executives; and possesses strong pattern recognition to apply proven solutions to new contexts without over-engineering.
