• Pay: $21.63–$27.04 hourly
• Team: Controller’s Organization
• Mission: Provide on-the-job training and experience to develop aspiring accounting professionals within the petroleum industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Processing: Analyze and process business documents accurately.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze accounting and financial data to prepare appropriate financial statement journal entries.
• Account Reconciliation: Prepare general ledger account reconcilements to ensure accuracy.
• Compliance and Reporting: Assist in preparing tax information and contribute to budget preparation.
• Audit Support: Test SOX and Non-SOX controls in auditing processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Concurrent enrollment in a bachelor’s degree (or higher) seeking program for the duration of the experience, with an Accounting major required, though other business majors may be considered.
• Experience: Availability to work 40 hours per week during the internship term and a demonstrated record of strong academic performance.
• Skills: Strong analytical abilities for financial data review, precise document processing skills, and an aptitude for preparing financial reports and account reconciliations.
• Bonus: Military experience is a plus for candidates.
