What You’ll Actually Do
• Planning Assistance: Gain an understanding of and assist in planning multiple assignments across industries such as Real Estate, Construction, Nonprofit, and Manufacturing.
• Principle Execution: Execute a solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles, quality control standards, and technology implementation procedures for individual client assignments.
• Client Assignment Participation: Participate in client assignments from their beginning stages through to completion.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and communicate issues, technical matters, and improvement opportunities with senior associates, managers, and partners to resolve client issues discovered during the audit process.
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of client staff to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Working towards a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally. Ability to multi-task, think independently, and problem-solve in a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills; strong verbal and written communications skills; strong computer and technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field is preferred. Active participation in student organizations or work experience in accounting or a related field is a plus.
