What You’ll Actually Do
• Auditing Procedures: Perform substantive auditing procedures in assigned areas.
• Work Understanding: Obtain a clear understanding of the work to be performed and its specific purpose.
• Documentation: Prepare working papers that adequately document the tests performed and procedures followed to substantiate conclusions reached.
• Accounting Principles: Be alert to the proper and consistent application of accounting principles while performing audit procedures.
• Deficiency Identification: Identify and document control deficiencies or other matters that warrant the attention of management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This entry-level internship requires candidates to have completed two or more years of university education by the time the internship begins. Active pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in accounting is also required.
• Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential for this role.
• Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary to articulate findings and procedures clearly. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, showing willingness to cooperate with others. A high degree of discretion is required when handling confidential information.
