• Mission: To assist senior staff with accounting, auditing, and tax preparation tasks for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with professional standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Internal Controls: Assist with the study and evaluation of client internal accounting controls.
• Compliance Testing: Test compliance with internal controls when they are deemed reliable and functional.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Reconciliation Examination: Examine client reconciliations for bank accounts and subsidiary accounts, investigating any discrepancies found.
• Tax Preparation Support: Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position for candidates currently pursuing a college degree with a major or concentration in accounting.
• Experience: Foundational understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, auditing standards, and federal and state income tax laws and regulations.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, establishing a practice of accuracy in dealing with both numeric and alphabetic information, and a professional appearance, attitude, poise, and conduct.
