Spring Intern-Accounting (Internal Audit) – FY 2027 | Air Products

• Tech Stack: SAP ECC, SAP BW, BPC ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, data analytics tool (preferred)
What You’ll Actually Do
• SOX Controls Testing: Conduct joint meetings with external auditors and management to test the operating effectiveness of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls.
• Compliance Analysis: Prepare work papers, analyze evidence of control performance, and make pass/failure determinations for internal controls.
• Issue Management: Support the follow-up of issues identified during SOX controls testing.
• Financial Compliance Audits: Perform tests of compliance in various areas including Financial Reporting, Taxes, Payroll, Revenue, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and Requisition-to-Pay.
• Operational Audits: Execute audit programs, perform testing, and prepare audit work papers to document conclusions reached during operational audit engagements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current student in their sophomore or junior year working toward a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum GPA of 3.3. Entry-level.
• Experience: Previous experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, time management skills, an inquisitive mindset, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Bonus: Experience with a data analytics tool.
