Product Manager | Paramount

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Paramount, based in the US with flexibility across major hubs like New York City, California, Colorado, or Washington state. This role is essential for optimizing the digital HR ecosystem, focusing on designing and scaling AI-driven tools and automations. This work enhances efficiency, improves decision-making, and delivers elevated experiences to employees and internal stakeholders across all HR operations.

• Pay: $110,000–$147,600 yearly
• Team: HR Product team, reporting to the Product Lead within the Product Design & Development team.
• Mission: Spearhead the HR technology roadmap by optimizing the digital ecosystem that powers all HR processes and drives strategic operational change.
• Tech Stack: PowerPoint, Canva, Lucid Chart, Figma, Lovable, Jira, Confluence, Asana, AI-powered tools, automation platforms.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Roadmap Management: Drive the HR technology roadmap forward by defining priorities, sequencing work, and making well-reasoned tradeoffs that balance business value and technical feasibility.
• Project Delivery: Manage the end-to-end delivery of product projects, from stakeholder intake through launch, ensuring active workstreams are tracked, blockers are surfaced, and the right people are aligned.
• Requirements Definition: Translate complex HR business needs and user insights into structured PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable Jira tickets.
• Agile Facilitation: Run and continuously improve agile sprint ceremonies, including standups, planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, in close coordination with engineers and platform developers.
• Adoption & Enablement: Champion change management and user adoption for product deployments by creating training documents, monitoring usage, and ensuring tools are embraced.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; mid-level product manager with 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably within enterprise technology, HR technology, or a large matrixed organization.
• Experience: 3-5 years experience managing multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities; experience with UI/UX and product design, particularly for productivity tools that leverage AI; proven ability to measure adoption, run user feedback sessions, and evaluate the user journey; experience using visualization, process mapping, and prototyping tools like PowerPoint, Canva, Lucid Chart, Figma, or Lovable.
• Skills: Remarkable written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear PRDs, crisp stakeholder updates, and documentation; proficiency in running agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, backlog grooming) and managing delivery in Jira, Confluence, or Asana; ability to bring structure to ambiguity, critically think, and operate with confidence as a self-starter.
• Bonus: Familiarity with AI-powered tools and automation platforms and genuine curiosity about their application to productivity and operations; prior experience in a consulting or client-facing role that required translating ambiguous business needs into structured, actionable deliverables; working knowledge of HR processes and systems across functions like Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and HR Operations.
