Networks SSS Intern | Ericsson

The Tone:
This is a 12-week internship at Ericsson, located in Plano, Texas, with a start date of May 25th, 2027. Ericsson provides telecommunications solutions globally, and this role supports the Networks Domain Services Sales Support team, which functions as business development consultants. The team is instrumental in translating customer needs into compelling services opportunities and commercially sound proposals. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in services business development, helping to shape, position, and deliver complex technology services within the telecommunications industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Proposal Support: Support RFx responses, tenders, proposals, presentations, customer consultations, and workshops for services sales activities.
• Requirements Analysis: Review customer requirements and help identify suitable Ericsson services, delivery approaches, and solution components.
• Scoping & Planning: Support the scoping of cognitive network services and network deployment offerings by defining activities, deliverables, assumptions, timelines, and risks.
• Commercial Analysis: Support commercial analysis by reviewing cost and pricing inputs, comparing scenarios, evaluating assumptions, and preparing recommendations.
• Content Creation: Help develop statements of work, service descriptions, effort estimates, pricing models, business cases, and value propositions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively enrolled full-time in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s program in business, engineering, computer science, telecommunications, information technology, economics, finance, operations, project management, or a related field, maintaining at least a 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
• Experience: An interest in telecommunications, technology services, network deployment, digital transformation, or business development is required; previous services sales experience is not.
• Skills: Strong analytical, research, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to understand technical, operational, and commercial information and communicate it clearly to diverse audiences; strong written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bonus: Professional curiosity and a willingness to ask questions, seek clarification, and understand the rationale behind recommendations.
