Portfolio Pricing and Valuation Lead | Millennium
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Millennium, an established global alternative investment firm founded in 1989. It is essential for partnering closely with Risk, Fixed Income Technology, Business Management, traders, portfolio managers, and global teams to drive pricing, valuation, and strategic initiatives, ultimately ensuring the integrity and accuracy of daily marks, P&L, and risk across the Asia book.

• Mission: Lead technical aspects of pricing and valuation to ensure integrity and accuracy of daily P&L and risk across the Asia Pacific fixed income portfolio.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Pricing Oversight: Monitor real-time and end-of-day pricing for fixed-income instruments across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring accuracy and vigilance over market data.
• Valuation Methodology Leadership: Strengthen valuation methodologies for linear and nonlinear derivatives and cash products across Rates, Credit, FX, and Emerging Markets, providing senior technical input on complex matters like curve construction and total return swap pricing.
• P&L Integrity and Resolution: Provide technical leadership for trade-date and T+1 P&L explanation, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of daily marks, P&L, and risk, while also investigating and resolving complex pricing and P&L challenges.
• New Product Onboarding: Support new-product assessment and onboarding by confirming pricing model coverage, validating valuation methodology, and ensuring downstream P&L and risk readiness before trading.
• Strategic Initiatives and Team Development: Lead the regional Fixed Income Valuations book of work and strategic initiatives, including IBOR-RFR transition and technology upgrades, concurrently helping to manage, mentor, and develop regional valuation team members.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with extensive experience in desk strategy, risk quantitative analysis, model validation, or fixed-income pricing and valuation.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience mentoring or leading a team, combined with a proven ability to own a book of work, drive strategic initiatives, and coordinate multi-team delivery.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of pricing models for Rates, Credit, and FX products, robust analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and project-management capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Financial Engineering or equivalent, and familiarity with Murex, internal pricing libraries, or IBOR-RFR transition.
