Application Manager – Operations & Payment Applications | Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group

• Team: Leads technical teams and serves as the primary technology contact for Operations and business stakeholders.
• Mission: Ensure the stability, security, and continuous improvement of core banking platforms while driving modernization initiatives.
• Tech Stack: SPEI, SPID, SWIFT, T24 Core Banking, .NET, middleware, application integration, enterprise architecture

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead the support, administration, and enhancement of core banking and payment applications.
• Manage: Manage technology modernization and application upgrade initiatives.
• Translate: Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Oversee: Oversee application development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Partner: Manage vendor relationships and ensure delivery of agreed service levels.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager. Core domain knowledge in supporting enterprise applications within the banking industry.
• Experience: 8+ years supporting enterprise applications. Previous people management experience. Experience supporting T24 Core Banking or similar banking platforms. Strong project management and vendor management experience.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of payment platforms and ecosystems, including SPEI, SPID, and SWIFT. Background in software development (.NET or similar technologies). Knowledge of middleware, application integration, and enterprise architecture. Advanced English communication skills.
• Bonus: Japanese language skills.
