Operational Leadership Development Engr. | MetalTek International
The Tone:
This is a full-time rotational development program at MetalTek International, an industry leader known for its contributions to highly dynamic sectors such as Aerospace, Petrochemical, and Naval Propulsion. The role offers a unique opportunity for individuals to transition from the office directly onto the shop floor, embracing hands-on involvement and rolling up their sleeves. Participants will spend a significant 2.5 years immersed in various aspects of the business, where their efforts will be meaningful and directly contribute to the organization’s success, laying the groundwork for a robust engineering career while working alongside co-workers who take pride in their work.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotational Program Immersion: Undertake a comprehensive 2.5-year rotational program, deliberately designed to provide in-depth exposure and hands-on experience across a diverse range of manufacturing and essential support departments.
• Operational & Product Understanding: Actively learn about and become deeply involved in the intricate details of business operations, the specific characteristics of company products, key customer requirements, and the complete manufacturing processes from beginning to end.
• Leadership & Social Skill Enhancement: Benefit from a dedicated mentoring atmosphere designed to foster and significantly enhance both your leadership capabilities and social interaction skills, ensuring your contributions are impactful and meaningful.
• Talent & Strength Exploration: Seize every opportunity within the program to explore and fully develop your individual strengths and unique talents, gaining foundational skills and invaluable experience that will serve as the bedrock of your professional career.
• Analytical & Supervisory Leadership: Dedicate the final year of the rotation to a dual role: first, serving four months as an operations analyst, meticulously assessing and identifying improvements within a specific department, and subsequently spending the balance of the year supervising that very department.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an Entry-Level opportunity. Candidates must possess a four-year technical or engineering degree, specifically from a program in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Furthermore, US Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for consideration.
• Experience: While no specific years of prior professional experience are mandated, applicants are expected to provide clear evidence of being a proactive self-starter with a consistently positive attitude in their endeavors.
• Skills: Essential skills encompass effective written and verbal communication, strong internal motivation, high levels of energy, persistence in problem-solving, adherence to discipline, and a demonstrated continuous willingness to learn and adapt.
• Bonus: Candidates who can showcase demonstrated technical intelligence and a strong natural mechanical aptitude will be given preferred consideration for this developmental role.
