2027 Summer Accounting Intern (Baltimore, MD) | Constellation
The Tone:
This is a paid summer internship at Constellation, located in Baltimore, MD, in a hybrid capacity. Constellation is the world’s largest private-sector power producer and the nation’s largest producer of clean and reliable energy, with the generating capacity to power the equivalent of 27 million homes. This role is a crucial opportunity for highly motivated students to gain real-world, hands-on experience within the company’s Finance team, helping Constellation continue to meet the country’s energy needs. Interns will work on specific projects designed to contribute to the company’s mission of lighting the way to a brilliant tomorrow.

• Team: Finance Team, with placements in FP&A, Accounting (Close and Reporting, Internal Auditing), Treasury, Credit, or Risk departments.
• Mission: Gain real-world, hands-on experience by working independently on specific projects under an assigned supervisor within various finance functions.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Contribute to specific projects within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department.
• Assist with projects related to accounting close, reporting, and internal auditing functions.
• Support initiatives and projects within the Treasury department.
• Engage in projects focused on credit management.
• Participate in risk management projects and activities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level role for students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Must have the ability to lawfully work in the United States without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.
• Experience: A track record of outstanding academic performance, maintaining a minimum 2.8 Cumulative GPA and 3.0 Major GPA.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment; ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
