US Commercial Channel Business Planner | Hewlett Packard Enterprise

This position is crucial for defining, managing, and executing business plans, ensuring go-to-market excellence, and providing insights to improve overall business performance.

• Team: Business Planning team within the North America Planning and Strategy Team, engaging with US Sales and Category leadership.
• Mission: Drive business execution and go-to-market excellence for Personal Systems and Printing through enhanced business management information, reporting, and analytics.
• Tech Stack: SQL, Dashboard & Data Visualization tools, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Own sales forecasting, reporting, and analysis for the business.
• Design and deploy sales coverage, quota, and compensation plans.
• Conduct complex data and business analyses to develop comprehensive business plans.
• Define key metrics to measure business performance and compare actual data to forecasted values.
• Develop go-forward business plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience. Demonstrated competence in strategy, planning, or operations.
• Experience: Typically has 5+ years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, or operations. Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage data requests.
• Skills: Strong analytical thinking, technical analysis, data manipulation, financial modeling, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Preferred Certifications in SQL, Dashboard & Data Visualization tools, and working knowledge of Power BI.
