Distribution Center Management Trainee | Kontoor Brands, Inc.
The Tone:
This is an entry-level management trainee program at Kontoor Brands, Inc. Kontoor Brands manages a portfolio of iconic lifestyle, outdoor, and workwear brands including Wrangler, Lee, and Helly Hansen, supported by a global platform and best-in-class supply chain. This role is crucial for developing future leaders who will ensure the efficient and effective operation of the company’s distribution centers, directly impacting brand growth and long-term value delivery. The program offers a comprehensive learning experience across all facets of distribution center management.
The TL;DR
• Role: Management Trainee
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person, requiring relocation to Seminole, OK; Hackleburg, AL; El Paso, TX; or Luray, VA.
• Mission: To learn and master all aspects of distribution center operations, procedures, equipment, and systems, preparing to provide leadership and supervision of employees.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point), new warehouse systems.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Learn: Master all functions, workflows, procedures, processes, equipment, and systems of the distribution center through structured departmental rotations.
• Develop: Acquire in-depth knowledge of training principles, methods, and work measurement by collaborating with Engineering and Distribution Management teams.
• Implement: Serve as key personnel in the deployment and integration of new warehouse systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage: Complete various special projects as assigned by management, contributing to specific initiatives and improvements within the distribution center.
• Adhere: Become proficient in all distribution center policies, procedures, and Kontoor’s safety structure and policies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering required, providing a foundational understanding for distribution operations. This is an Entry-Level position.
• Experience: 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point), strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation), strong interpersonal skills, and strong analytical ability.
• Bonus: Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is preferred.
