What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Provide assistance in preparing work papers, trial balances, and depreciation schedules.
• Data Entry: Enter data for various computer applications and prepare engagement correspondence.
• Support: Assist professional staff in gathering necessary data for tax return preparation.
• Maintain: Support the professional team by maintaining the tax library.
• Organize: Ensure client tax and auditing files are accurately maintained.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be enrolled as an Entry-Level student in an accredited college or university with a major in accounting.
• Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skills: Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently and as a team, willingness to cooperate with others, and a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
