• Mission: The mission of this role is to support the accounting team by accurately handling data migration, recording transactions, preparing entries, and performing reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Migration: Validate accurate data transfer by assisting in the migration of data from the legacy system to the new agency software.
• Transaction Processing: Record transactions in the legacy system to verify payment accuracy, assist in closing old balances, and process claims and survey payables.
• Financial Entry Preparation: Assist in preparing general journal entries for various business transactions and prepare and review expense reclassification entries in the agency software.
• Account Reconciliation: Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations by identifying, researching, and assisting in resolving discrepancies, and support the reconciliation of payables.
• Process Documentation: Document accounting process and general journal entry procedures, ensuring consistent publishing and referencing of documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, suitable for an entry-level professional.
• Experience: Must be available to work full-time in Miami, FL during the summer of 2027.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail.
• Bonus: Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
