Sales Insights Analyst | U.S. Bank
The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Generate Sales Insights: Create and deliver actionable data insights to support sales execution, leadership decision-making, and growth strategy.
• Develop Seller Tools: Build analytics that empower sellers to identify opportunities, prioritize client engagement, and improve pipeline progression.
• Produce Executive Reports: Design and deliver executive-level reporting used to evaluate business performance and inform strategic priorities.
• Manage Data Initiatives: Lead high-impact data projects covering call reporting, talent analytics, pipeline, product volume, win/loss, new logos, revenue attribution, and implementation visibility.
• Integrate Data Sources: Combine information from Salesforce, Power BI, SQL databases, and Microsoft Power Platform to produce accurate, scalable, and decision-ready reporting.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, with a background in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Typically five to eight years of related experience, with working knowledge of SQL and experience querying data, hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (dashboard development, data modeling, visualization), Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate), and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data validation), plus experience using Salesforce data.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to organize complex information and identify meaningful trends; excellent communication skills for all levels of internal stakeholders; proficiency in translating business questions into clear data requirements, reporting logic, and actionable insights; meticulous attention to data quality, reconciliation, definitions, and reporting consistency; a continuous improvement mindset for refining dashboards, automating processes, and scaling repeatable reporting.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in data analytics, business analytics, data science, information systems, finance, economics, statistics, or a related field (or two or more years of relevant work experience); familiarity with Power Query, dataflows, APIs, or automated refresh processes; experience combining and reconciling data from CRM, financial, sales activity, product, and operational systems; ability to develop seller-facing insights and create executive-level dashboards; experience with call reporting, talent analytics, pipeline analytics, win/loss analysis, or revenue attribution; experience defining business rules, KPI definitions, and data-quality controls; ability to analyze pipeline progression, stage aging, conversion, and performance trends; strong presentation skills; history of fostering partnerships with business and analytics teams.
