What You’ll Actually Do
• Payroll Oversight: Review and sign off on weekly payroll for both Union and Nonunion associates using Kronos and PeopleSoft, including tracking paid time off.
• Vendor Deductions: Create and maintain schedules for deductions against vendors for fines related to weights and measures violations, ensuring full collection.
• Warehouse Debit Processing: Print, review, and process weekly Warehouse Debits.
• Contract-Based Deductions: Generate deductions against vendors for expired Billback contracts, preparing backup and confirming amounts prior to processing.
• Promotional Support: Assist Semi-Senior accountants by creating vendor deductions for miscellaneous sales promotions and new store openings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance is preferred.
• Experience: Familiarity with Kronos, PeopleSoft, Oracle, and RAPID systems.
• Skills: Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organization skills; strong analytical skills with attention to detail; excellent technical and personal computer skills, including Excel.
