What You’ll Actually Do
• Process: Process and organize financial records and invoices for various accounting activities.
• Assist: Assist the accounting team with tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support: Support account reconciliation processes and assist with month-end closing activities.
• Prepare: Prepare basic financial reports, spreadsheets, and other required documentation.
• Review: Enter and review financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related degree program is required. This internship is structured for students seeking entry-level, practical experience within the accounting field.
• Experience: Candidates must possess basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, as these tools will be used for data entry, reporting, and record maintenance.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical for managing financial records. The role also requires reliability, discretion when handling sensitive information, a willingness to learn new processes, and clear written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members effectively.
