This is a paid internship at GreenStone Farm Credit Services, located in East Lansing, MI. The TL;DR

• Mission: Support the finance and accounting operations to ensure accurate financial processes and exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Payments: Manage daily payment processes by reviewing and releasing wires.
• Monitoring: Monitor financial transactions through daily ACH report review.
• Transactions: Facilitate recurring payments by initiating ACH transactions.
• Accuracy: Ensure accurate financial records by assisting with payment application to loans.
• Reconciliation: Support financial operations through reconciliation of daily balancing accounts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with sophomore status or above in your academic program.
• Experience: A minimum GPA of 3.00 is required.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
