Accounting Student | PCL Construction

This is a full-time internship at Nassal/nFusion, a part of the PCL family of companies, located in Orlando, FL. This role is vital to our accounting team by ensuring accurate and timely financial operations for vendor payments and cash receipts, directly contributing to our overall success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Vendor Payments: Supports the accounting team by collecting, reconciling, seeking approval, and processing general vendor payments through PCL business systems in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure Compliance: Understands and complies with all labor provider agreements, government legislation, PCL policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Manage Cash Receipts: Prepares bank deposits and subsequent cash receipt entries where required.
• Communicate Effectively: Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
• Build Relationships: Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level student pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline. Must be 18 years of age or older, authorized to work in the US, possess a valid Driver’s License, and be available to work full-time in Orlando, FL from May to August.
• Experience: Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal abilities.
• Bonus: Knowledge and/or experience with accounting software.
