The Tone:
This is an in-person, rotational graduate leadership development program at Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global organization with over 95,000 employees. The program is designed to cultivate future Human Resources leaders. Participants will gain vital competencies and experiences, making a strategic business impact across various HR functions within the company. The TL;DR

• Type: Standard (Mon-Fri)
• Location: In-person, Geographically Flexible (Rotational program, post-program placements), estimated salary based in Massachusetts.
• Pay: $95,000 yearly (starting, plus Annual Incentive Plan, Sign-on Bonus, and Relocation Assistance), estimated range $93,000–$96,000 in MA.
• Team: Human Resources Graduate Leadership Development Program participants, with Executive Mentorship.
• Mission: Develop critical HR competencies and provide strategic direction across diverse HR functional areas to become a Human Resources leader.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate: Complete three eight-month rotations between July 2027 and July 2029, gaining proficiency in diverse HR functional areas like talent management, talent acquisition, and total rewards.
• Develop: Participate in formal development sessions and receive dedicated Executive Mentorship to build critical HR competencies.
• Apply: Utilize the Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodology to enhance project and process management skills.
• Build: Foster business acumen, a talent mindset, consultation abilities, change leadership, and organizational adaptability.
• Collaborate: Engage with a network of outstanding GLDP alumni for ongoing learning and career growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate student completing a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field between December 2026 – June 2027.
• Experience: 1+ years of post-Undergraduate work experience preferred, ideally gained in large, global organizations. Proven leadership experience with a track record of influencing others, leading initiatives, and driving results.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, solve complex problems, strong learning agility, intellectual curiosity, innovative mindset, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and emotional intelligence.
• Bonus: Geographic mobility and flexibility required for rotational assignments and future career opportunities. Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring employment visa sponsorship (F-1, J-1, H-1, OPT, CPT visas are not supported for this position).
