Fiduciary Treasury accountant | Marsh McLennan
The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at Marsh McLennan, located in South Korea. Marsh McLennan is a global leader advising clients on risk, reinsurance, capital, people, investments, and management consulting. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial operations, reporting, and compliance within the Treasury function, particularly concerning fiduciary reinsurance and overall financial health.

• Mission: This person owns the management and accuracy of treasury accounting, reporting, and compliance for fiduciary activities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Fiduciary Reinsurance: Manage and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and analysis for Fiduciary Reinsurance activities.
• Aging Accounts: Analyze and manage aging accounts, including receivables and payables, to ensure timely resolution and effective cash flow management.
• Financial Statements: Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss, ensuring adherence to UGAAP/KGAAP.
• Compliance & GL: Ensure compliance with financial regulations (FSS) and manage general ledger postings in Oracle for regional and global reporting requirements.
• Audit & Ad-hoc: Handle financial inquiries, facilitate audit processes, and perform ad-hoc treasury accounting tasks as required.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent field.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, and reporting functions.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, strong analytical skills, proactive attitude, good communication skills, and business English fluency.
• Bonus: Knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including control environments; experience in treasury processing, accuracy, responsibility, ethical integrity, and promptness; prior experience in insurance company operations, banking, or treasury.
