The Tone:
This is a full-time role at GE Vernova, located in Greenville, SC, Schenectady, NY, Atlanta, GA, or Houston, TX. • Mission: To accelerate the development of entry-level, high-potential engineering talent, providing them with the technical and business foundation to innovate and create the future of GE Vernova.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive innovation: Work on impactful, technically-challenging projects across four 6-month rotations in disciplines such as Design, Analysis, Systems, Quality, Reliability, Digital, and Integration & Test within the power generation industry.
• Develop professionally: Enhance core engineering skills through advanced courses and business leadership training, collaborating with other GE Vernova program members.
• Gain expertise: Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers to grow expertise in your chosen field and expand into new areas.
• Pursue education: Have the opportunity to earn credit towards an MS degree in Engineering if entering the program with a Bachelor’s degree.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an ABET accredited university in Mechanical, Electrical, Aero, Controls, Materials, Civil, Mechatronics, or other Energy Engineering related majors.
• Experience: Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing is desired.
• Skills: Analytical problem-solving, learning agility, excellent communication for technical problems, demonstrated leadership, and strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
• Bonus: An overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher, a desire to work in the power generation industry, and attributes like being highly motivated, a self-starter, energetic, confident, and flexible in changing environments.
