With a team of over 275 professionals, the company provides investment management, property management, and construction management services, guided by executives with over 30 years of industry experience. This internship offers a practical understanding of accounting principles and processes, providing valuable hands-on experience and exposure to the daily operations of an accounting department. The Accounting Intern will work closely with experienced professionals and be an integral part of the team, gaining foundational knowledge in accounting and finance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Data Management: Enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Transaction Processing: Help with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification, reconciliation, and payment processing.
• Reconciliation Support: Assist in reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in College/University, majoring in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team; eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, effective communication, interpersonal skills, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Bonus: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software/tools is a plus.
