NextGen Leadership Program Associate | Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits

The Tone:
This is a full-time leadership development role at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, located in Miramar, FL or Dallas, TX. Southern Glazer’s is North America’s largest total beverage distributor, a family-owned business with deep roots dating back to 1933. This program is designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders, providing intensive development and hands-on experience within a company that deeply invests in its people and offers substantial opportunities for career growth.

• Pay: $73000 yearly
• Team: Reports to various rotation managers, sponsored by CHRO Amy Kickham.
• Mission: To develop future leaders for Southern Glazer’s through rotational assignments and leadership training.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotations: Rotate across four, six-month core functions, undertaking leadership assignments and projects within the organization.
• Skill Development: Learn the necessary processes, methods, skills, knowledge, and experience to deliver value to the company.
• Project Management: Gain understanding of how to define problems, scope projects, determine key deliverables, and anticipate outcomes to achieve tangible business benefits.
• Leadership Traits: Develop essential traits in decision-making, teamwork, critical thinking, dealing with ambiguity, and problem-solving.
• Networking: Build a national peer network and gain exposure to senior leadership through presentations to company executives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required; preferred degrees include Business Administration/Management, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain/Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a multi-disciplinary program. Candidates must be graduating seniors (December 2026 & May 2027) or up to 2 years post-graduation.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership in academic or work settings and a proven track record of delivering results.
• Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and rotation managers, clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, adaptability to changing environments, eagerness to learn, and commitment to self-improvement.
• Bonus: Must be 21 years old or older at the start of the program and willing to relocate to Miramar, FL or Dallas, TX.
