The Tone:
This is a full-time role at TOPPAN Packaging Americas, located in Charlotte, NC (South End Area). TOPPAN Packaging Americas is a packaging company offering an Emerging Leader Program in Human Resources designed to cultivate future HR professionals. Participants will contribute to day-to-day HR tasks while gaining exposure to essential business insights and leadership principles. The program is vital for nurturing new talent who will uphold the company’s commitment to employee wellbeing and operational excellence.

• Mission: Learn company HR policies and benefits to respond to internal staff inquiries.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Administrative Support: Assist with the smooth execution of daily operations and essential administrative tasks within the Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent Acquisition teams.
• Information Gathering: Conduct thorough research and systematically gather relevant data to provide critical support for ongoing departmental projects and initiatives.
• Strategic Collaboration: Actively collaborate with diverse team members across HR functions to contribute to the development and successful implementation of new departmental strategies.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare clear and comprehensive reports, engaging presentations, and other necessary documentation to track progress and communicate project outcomes.
• Internal Inquiry Resolution: Acquire in-depth knowledge of the company’s HR policies, employee benefits, and related information to effectively respond to and resolve internal staff inquiries.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business, expected by May 2026 or December 2026. This is an early career role.
• Experience: Previous internship experience, with a preference for Human Resources Management or a functional area; demonstrated project management experience.
• Skills: Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; proven leadership and decision-making capabilities; technical aptitude and learning agility.
• Bonus: A self-motivated approach, adaptable thinking, and the ability to multi-task and work effectively within groups while maintaining attention to detail.
