The Tone:
This is a full-time Internal Business Associate role at Manulife, located in Tempe, AZ, with a hybrid work arrangement. Manulife, through John Hancock, is a leading international financial services provider dedicated to helping people make their financial decisions easier and lives better. This role offers an exciting opportunity to partner with Internal Business Consultants and the Sales Management Team to support the creation, development, and implementation of programs that help advisors grow their business and increase John Hancock Investments’ assets under management.

• Mission: Support internal business consultants and sales management in helping advisors grow their business and increase John Hancock Investments’ AUM.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with Internal Sales Management and Internal Business Consultants.
• Analysis: Conduct research and analyze competitor products to understand their interaction with clients’ portfolios.
• Insights: Partner with Internal Business Consultants to provide reporting, analysis, and insights to registered representatives for identifying investing opportunities.
• Efficiency: Work alongside Internal Business Consultants to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Internal Sales Desk.
• Inquiries: Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound sales inquiries and potential client relationship development opportunities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Commerce, Economics, Analytics/Mathematics/Statistics, or a similar program. Demonstrated curiosity about Capital Markets.
• Experience: Desire to acquire sales experience within the financial services industry. Proven relationship management skills, including the ability to work in a team environment.
• Skills: Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Capacity to learn and adapt quickly while applying creativity.
• Bonus: Completion of the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam is preferred.
