What You’ll Actually Do
• Close Process: Assist with the comprehensive month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and meticulously analyze financial statements and various reports to provide insights into the company’s performance.
• Reconciliations: Perform detailed account reconciliations, encompassing bank, balance sheet, prepaid, and accrual accounts to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Budget Support: Provide support for the annual budget and forecasting processes, contributing to future financial planning.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure strict compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal accounting controls, maintaining financial integrity.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, preparing candidates for an entry-level or early-career accounting position.
• Experience: 0–3+ years of professional accounting experience, with particular consideration for those with 1–2 years of month-end close experience.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically including the ability to utilize Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas effectively.
