This Senior Buyer position is crucial for the company’s operations, carrying high focus and importance for supporting the supply chain. You will join an experienced and professional procurement team, cooperating with multiple stakeholders in an international environment.

• Team: Experienced procurement team in Controls & Automation, supporting manufacturing and projects.
• Mission: Fulfill strategic inquiring and purchasing activities, resolve commercial issues, and manage high-value purchase orders for Controls & Automation components and projects.
• Tech Stack: SAP, other applicable business systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Procurement: Fulfill strategic inquiring and purchasing activities within specified timeframes and budgets, expediting bids and supplier negotiations.
• Order Management: Communicate order status effectively with internal stakeholders and ensure the accuracy of all system data.
• Commercial Resolution: Resolve commercial issues and skillfully manage purchase orders that are of high value and complexity.
• Supplier Management: Drive mitigation processes with suppliers as required to address performance or supply chain challenges.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sourcing, Engineering, and Project Teams to resolve execution issues effectively.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Procurement roles.
• Skills: Highly developed analytic and problem-solving skills; proficiency in communication and negotiations, with the capability to professionally chair internal and external meetings; ability to identify process weaknesses and recommend improvements to reduce costs, increase quality, or enhance efficiency; knowledge of SAP and other applicable business systems; commitment, proactivity, strong sense of collaboration, ability to make decisions, and a capacity to learn from every situation.
• Bonus: Relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal competency. Candidates must be legally able to work and reside in the country without sponsorship.
