The TL;DR

• Location: In-person – Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City
• Team: Leads a trading team, reporting to the Head of Department and local management.
• Mission: To provide professional trading services to clients, develop and maintain business, and achieve the Bank’s revenue targets by formulating trading strategies and leading a team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Trading Strategy & Execution: Formulate trading strategy for the team, promoting the trading franchise, and execute for the best interests of the Bank and its clients.
• Business Development & Revenue Generation: Develop and maintain business with existing and new clients by partnering with sales to achieve the Bank’s revenue target.
• Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, motivate, and educate subordinates through regular meetings, providing training and mentoring to existing and newly joined staff.
• Market Analysis & Compliance: Equip with professional markets and products knowledge to conduct trading activities, analyze market indicators, and comply with all relevant external regulations and internal policies.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build effective relationships with key clients and collaborate with various internal departments and overseas branches to deliver seamless transactions and integrated services.

The Must-Haves
• Background: University Bachelor’s Degree qualified. Professional markets and products knowledge to conduct trading activities and analyze market.
• Experience: At least 10 years of working experience in the banking & financial services industry. Experience in leading a team and managing trading positions.
• Skills: Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments. Strong knowledge in global markets products, compliance and risk management, including Foreign Exchange and Derivatives. Detailed understanding of the local banking regulatory environment.
• Bonus: CFA Charter holder is preferable.
