The Tone:
This is an early-career rotational development program, based in Charlotte, NC, designed for individuals with a strong interest in building a long-term career in Human Resources (HR). Wells Fargo is a major financial institution, and its centralized HR function is instrumental in defining and implementing strategies, programs, and infrastructure critical for identifying, developing, and retaining top talent across the entire company. This two-year program provides an accelerated development path, offering hands-on assignments, comprehensive training, and direct exposure to various HR functions, positioning participants to become future HR leaders within the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research & Analysis: Conduct research, analyze data, and present insights and recommendations to peers, managers, and senior leadership.
• Strategic Partnership: Partner with line-of-business and HR stakeholders on strategy, planning, and project management initiatives.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to human capital initiatives across the enterprise to enhance processes, identify best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
• Professional Network: Build a strong professional network through mentorship, sponsorship, and engagement with senior leadership opportunities.
• Skill Development: Participate in formal training and experiential learning to deepen HR expertise, technical capability, and business knowledge.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-career talent pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027. While candidates pursuing degrees in Human Resources Management, Business, Finance, Organizational Psychology, or Analytics are desired, individuals from all academic majors are encouraged to apply.
• Experience: A minimum of 6 months of prior work experience, or equivalent experience gained through a combination of work, dedicated training programs, military service, or educational endeavors.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking and data analysis skills, including the ability to generate meaningful insights, adapt quickly to change, and support innovative HR solutions; strong collaboration and communication skills to build stakeholder relationships, foster inclusion, and apply feedback; ability to act with integrity, adhere to HR policies, and support effective risk controls for compliant operations.
• Bonus: Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools, such as chat-based assistants and built-in features like Microsoft Copilot, with a genuine interest in learning and using these tools responsibly; ability to execute tasks with urgency, demonstrate strong attention to detail for reporting and project management, and drive operational excellence with an enterprise mindset; strong business acumen and a service orientation to understand HR needs and support solutions delivering positive employee and business impact.
